First day, first visitors

Engine inspection (see pic for a bit of engine porn): check. Fix centre rope and fenders: check. Three point turn to get out of the marina (hardly any swearing): check. And off we went!

Now canals aren’t known for their speed, but our first day nerves meant we broke records for the slowest speed imaginable. Despite that, we still managed to get to bridge 27 in time to give Ewan and Mary a tour of Felucca and a turn at the helm.

Happy days!

  2. Tom, already looking the part there. And it is actually pretty likely we WILL be coming to the UK within the next year. Probably January/February. So maybe we’ll get to see the Felucca!

  3. @Nick, you ain’t seen nuffink yet — wait until we start doing DIY!
@Dave, yes yes, please do come visit, we will make sure she is warm and toasty for Sunshine.
