Some of you, naming no names, NICK, suggested that the lovely veg we bought at Birmingham market would not last us ten days and was, in fact, only good for compost. Well. Seven days later, here’s a little update. Red lines indicate that the produce in question has gone into a hearty meal. What’s left awaits its turn cheerfully, with not a spot of rot in sight.
