Boat cuisine – Barrowford top lock

Brunch after an energetic morning going up Barrowford locks.

We are now at the summit pound of the Leeds & Liverpool canal, 487 feet above sea level, with Pendle Hill on the horizon… Quite glorious.

Barrowford locks

Top lock

Black pudding, bacon and eggs from Berkins in Burnley.

Provisions. Ashes on the radio. Australia 119 for nine as this picture taken.

Verdant hills, dry stone wall, Lancashire lass

Jon in England floppy hat. We need this canny medium pacer at Trent Bridge.
