The sun has finally scared the clouds away and the sky is a brilliant blue tonight in (rather oddly named) little village of Trevor. We have completed our first foray across our first wonder of the British waterways, the Pontcysyllte aqueduct. The return leg awaits tomorrow. This time I might even drive the bloody boat, after chickening out on the way over, after one glance at its dizzying heights.
We’ll share some more photos tomorrow, of the view from the boat.
In the meantime, here is a quick rundown of the seven wonders. We are hoping to get to a fair few of them over the next few months. Anyway, one down — and it’s the first one on this list! Hoorah.
