Today mum and dad joined us for the five miles from Willington to Branston, home of the famous pickle.
We passed through Burton: home of Bass, Marston and now Coor’s.
East of here where we’ve come from, the lock are massive to allow for huge beer shipments to Nottingham and beyond.
Now we are west of Burton the locks are tiny, you can almost leap across them! This is going to make things a lot easier and quicker. 🙂
Thanks to mum and dad for venturing aboard, for the pub lunch, and for the birdsong lessons!
